Prof. Yoel Sasson is the Lester Aronberg Professor of Applied Chemistry in the Casali Institute of Applied Chemistry, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Between 1987 and 1993 he was the Head of the Casali Institute, between 1994 and 2005, the VP of Research and Development at Makhteshim Chemical Works.

Prof. Sasson's current research interest is Process and Environmental Catalysis.

Prof. Sasson holds a Ph.D. on Transition Metal Catalysts from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
