Metick™, the first product developed by Mitam, is designed to control tick activity in livestock by reducing ticks population and tick eggs. It functions both directly on the livestock and in their habitat.

Metick™ formulation is based on the biological activity of the Metarhizium Anisopliae fungus.

It is applicable in the form of a suspension.

Trials on cattle indicate levels of short term effectiveness that is comparable to commercially available chemical pesticides and  significantly improved long term effects.
