Mitam has conducted two sets of comparison trials. The trials were carried out on cattle and the results were compared to results obtained in trials on two chemical pesticides. In both cases Metick™ achieved ticks killing rates similar to the chemical pesticides. The long-term results were significantly better due to reduced reproduction rates. The killing rate in female ticks was higher as was the rate of egg destruction and prevention of egg-laying. Results of the trials on the cattle and their habitat show similar highly effective results.
